domain.wtf is run by the people behind vallic.domains. There are no accounts here, and we do not ask for your name, email or anything else about you. This page says what does get processed, and why.
A domain name you type is sent to our server to be scored. We keep a count of how often each name is looked at per day (the name, the date and a number, nothing that identifies you), because it shows which names people want. Answers from the sources below are stored against the name or the word, never against a visitor.
Our server holds your IP address in memory for a few minutes to limit how many requests one address can make; it is not written to our database. The platform that hosts the site may keep standard access logs, which include IP addresses, for security and operations.
To check availability, estimates, sales and meaning, our server asks outside services about the name: DNS, the domain registries (RDAP), Dynadot, NameBio, Wikipedia and Wiktionary. They receive the name or its words, from our server. They do not receive your IP address or anything else about you.
With your consent we count visits with Google Analytics, which sets cookies in your browser. Until you accept, nothing is stored and Google receives only cookieless signals that a page was viewed. We never allow advertising or ad personalisation. Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage, and you can change it any time with cookie settings. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
Names we own link to their pages on vallic.domains. Those links say they came from domain.wtf and which kind of match they were, so we know what is useful. They carry nothing about you.
